Pray for Singapore
Population 4.6 million People 7,000 per sq km Religion 42% Buddhist 15% Christian 15% Muslim Positives The growth of the Church in Singapore since 1970 has been high. The population is 15% Christian, but among university students it is 33% and it is even higher among medical students. Bible training in the 16 seminaries, Bible schools and missions training schools is becoming a key ministry for Christians all over Asia. The Christians in Singapore have been very helpful in mission work in many countries. Reaksa Himm in Cambodia has benefited by the Churches in Singapore. They have built a road to the new library, actively support the Boys Brigade and provide spiritual training for young leaders in the new Churches.

Prayer needs Coping with affluence — while maintaining a spiritual cutting edge, and using wealth effectively for God’s Kingdom. Many young Christians become inactive once they marry and become enmeshed in the materialistic rat-race. Pray that Singapore may be a means of blessing to the many less-evangelized nations and peoples around it.
