I was born in Tumby Bay in SA and attended schools in the area and then boarding school in Adelaide in 1970 &71. I farmed for 10 years with my father at Butler Tanks. I married Kay Schramm from Ungarra in 1980. We have 3 adult children, Petrina, a nurse, married to Rob and they live on a farm near Ballarat. Nathan is in the Army and lives in Canberra, having lived in Townsville, East Timor, Cambodia and Melbourne. Jessica lives at home and works at an ABC Child Care Centre in Paralowie. Our parents are living in Port Lincoln.

We lived in Sydney from ’86 to ‘93, ministering in the suburb of Belmore before returning to Adelaide and working at Cowandilla till 2003, the latter years were part time. We moved to our own home in Parafield Gardens and attended the local Uniting Church for 4 years. For the past 8 years I have worked as a Postie in the Prospect area. I enjoy ministry and look forward to the challenges ahead at Hampstead Gardens. Kay works in customer service training for the On The Run stores and keeps very busy. We are both keen motorcyclists and belong to the Christian Motorcyclists Assoc. here in SA. I love adventure and enjoy exploring this country. Mostly, we enjoy spending time with our family.
