It is often enjoyable to go on a journey and see new sights and meet new people. Often when we retell the stories that happened on our journey we find ourselves talking most about the difficulties that occurred. Seems odd that we should do that but sometimes it is in the midst of problems that we learn most and feel closest to God.

As Paul and Riley embark on the amazing journey of riding the bikes from Melbourne to Adelaide, may they have a safe and enjoyable trip but also when times are hard may they recognise the opportunity that God is giving them to grow in their relationships with each other and with Him.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”       1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, ESV.
