We all need to know where we are going. It is particularly important to know where we are going when we are preparing to go on a long journey. Travel plans need to be carefully considered and bookings made especially if you are taking people with you. The trip that Paul and his grandson, Riley, are preparing for, is enormous! Riding a bicycle each for a bit over 700 km is incredible given Riley’s age and the traffic and terrain between here and Melbourne. For example, last Sunday, when you were sitting by the heater in your comfortable lounge room, Paul & Riley rode 70 Kilometres in the wind and the rain! Why? Because on the ride they may experience that weather or worse so it is good to be prepared. Pray for Paul & Riley in their preparation and for the journey itself when it happens. It is not only important to plan for a big trip but it is equally important to be prepared for each day and to know who it is that guides us in all our decisions. Please remember to follow Jesus now and every day. Put Him first.  He is the “only” Way!

Jesus said to him, (Philip and us), “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”     John 14:6-7, ESV.
