I have not managed to build a room let alone a house, I would struggle to know where and how to start. I admire the architect and the builders as they patiently plan and set strong foundations.
I did build an L shaped wall at the back of an existing building on the farm. It is still standing thanks mainly to good luck more than careful planning. I wouldn’t like to see it put under any pressure from nature. We all need to be built up with helpful words of love and guidance from those around us. Unhelpful words can harm or almost destroy us. Let us develop an attitude of lifting each other up with words of encouragement. Paul wrote many useful sentences
about the value of building others up.
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11, ESV
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Ephesians 4:29
“So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual building up.” Romans 14:19
“Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
