Are you patient as you wait in line to see a doctor? Have you sat in emergency at a hospital waiting to be seen? Have you ever waited for someone who is running late? We learn a lot about ourselves when we are in those situations. Be patient as you wait for the blessed hope, our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is coming.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” Titus 2:11-14, ESV.
While we wait for Jesus to return we can be busy in the good works that have been prepared for us to do. Jesus has provided everything for us for eternity. Be patient and keep trusting in His plan.
