I have been in Brisbane this past week at a conference for those from other states who work as a Minister to Ministers. It has been a rewarding experience and I have had the opportunity to think about many important decisions.
It has become apparent to me of the importance of resting in God and allowing Him to lead and guide us. We live in a world of high demands and expectations.
Support each other with words of life and love. Be kind and forgiving with those closest to you. Pray for those who are in need. Be bold and wise as you share with others about how much Jesus means to you.
The following verses from Acts 13 should remind us that the message of salvation is for everyone. But most of the Jews missed it and God then invited us Gentiles.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.
47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
48 When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honoured the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
